It's definitely a busy month for Eastern Lions Kart Club. Hot on the heels of the Australian Kart Championship, we're gearing up for the Junior Sprint Classic, run in the popular anti-clockwise track direction and widely regarded as one of the most anticipated junior karting events on the calendar.

19-20 September 2026, the Junior Sprint Classic showcases the next generation of karting talent, bringing together drivers and families from across the country for two days of exciting competition and community spirit.
The event is not just for competitors. Spectators are encouraged to come along and enjoy the action, with free entry across the entire weekend. Watch some of Australia's most promising young drivers battle it out on track in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. It was fantastic to host Round 4 of the Australian Kart Championship at Eastern Lions Kart Club. Thanks to the outstanding collaboration between the ELKC team and Karting Australia (KA), the event ran like clockwork from start to finish. The professionalism, dedication, and teamwork displayed by all involved ensured a seamless event experience for competitors, officials, volunteers, sponsors, and spectators alike. We are proud to have showcased our venue and club on the national stage and look forward to welcoming the karting community back to ELKC in the future.

ELKC Junior committee - make a difference
Eastern Lions Kart Club (ELKC) and its Committee are strong supporters of the ELKC Junior Committee, recognising that karting is a sport for all ages, including that Cadet and Junior members comprise a significant proportion of the Club’s membership. ELKC acknowledges the importance of supporting Cadet and Junior drivers and members, recognising that their development is vital to the ongoing strength and future growth of our Club.
The Junior Committee provides Cadet and Junior members with a platform to have a voice, ensuring their ideas, feedback, and needs are heard and considered. This inclusive approach encourages participation and involvement across the Club, valuing input from all members, not just adults, and helping to foster engagement, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.
