Karting Australia’s KOMP (Karting Operations Management Portal) is an online system used to manage all parts of Karting in Australia. It brings together licences, memberships, race entries, and event management into one digital platform that can be accessed by drivers, clubs, and officials. By replacing paper-based processes, KOMP helps make the sport more organised, saves time, reduces mistakes, and makes it easier to run events.

Wishing to become an Official or a Karting Activity Controller (KAC), you will need to attend Karting Australia Officials Academy.

In karting, you will usually need a MyLaps transponder if you plan to race. MyLaps is the timing system used at most clubs and Karting Australia events to record lap times, positions, and race results. While you may not need one for casual practice sessions, it is typically required for club days and race meetings. Having your own is the most convenient option.
